Devoted supporters of the pop star are calling for that a individual who breached a fence and seized the actress during Thursday's Wicked: For Good debut be arrested or expelled from Singapore.

A viral footage shows the individual from Australia pushing past media personnel and charging at Grande while the performers proceeded down a promenade flanked by fans.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo quickly guided the shocked star away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being escorted out of the premiere by guards.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram recently that he was "released after being arrested", though court documents revealed that he was scheduled to be present on the following morning. It is uncertain if he was charged.

Record of Event Invasions

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Troll Most Hated", has invaded a concert or event. His Instagram account features recordings of him interrupting other celebrity events, including jumping on stage at the pop singer's Sydney concert in June this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers performance in the area last year.

"Measures must be taken applied against him as this is evidently a legal violation," wrote an Instagram commenter, in a reply to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his act.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" one Instagram user questioned.

Fans Voice Worry Over the Star's Safety

Many followers accused Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had revealed dealing with PTSD after a suicide bomb attack at the end of her May 2017 performance in Manchester, killing 22 people and harming hundreds.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" commented one more comment on Instagram.

Some attendees also questioned event staff at the premiere for not being sufficiently alert; while others requested social media platforms to ban Mr Wen's videos.

Reaction and Premiere Information

In footage circulating online, Grande looked startled when she was grabbed by the intruder. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed comforting her while Mr Wen was removed by security.

Grande has remained silent on the incident, and the rest of the event proceeded as normal.

Fans at Wicked premiere
Many of Singapore fans had queued up to meet the actors of Wicked

Hundreds of supporters had assembled in a mass of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific debut in a Singapore shopping center, including some who had queued for as long as a significant duration before it commenced.

The film, to be launched on November 21, is the follow-up of a dual version of the popular Broadway and West End show Wicked, which centers on the unlikely bond between two very different sorceresses.

The production itself is a adaptation of the 1900 book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the good witch Glinda, was dressed in a champagne pink glittering gown at the premiere while Erivo, who acts as the Elphaba, wore a elegant ensemble embroidered with roses.

They were joined by co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the highest-grossing film of last year in the UK, and earned 10 Oscar nominations, securing two for excellent wardrobe and set decoration.
